Kim Galloup is the Produce Safety Unit Manager for the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD), Bureau of Food Safety and Animal Health and holds a BS in Food Science and master’s degree in Natural Resource Management. Kim began her career with MDARD in 2016 as a food retail and manufacturing inspector, later transitioning to the Produce Safety Unit in 2020 as a produce inspector and senior inspector, with senior duties primarily focusing on staff training and professional development. Kim later stepped into the program manager and field supervisor position in April 2024.
