Summer Williams is the Food Safety Division Deputy Director at the Georgia Department of Agriculture. She leads the Georgia Food Safety and Food Defense Task Force alongside overseeing the Georgia Rapid Response Team & Recalls Program. Prior to her work with the State of Georgia, Summer worked with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services in Food Safety and Agricultural Law Enforcement for over 13 years.
