Jessica Fierros is currently the Consumable Hemp Branch Manager for the Texas Department of State Health Services. Prior to becoming the Consumable Hemp Branch Manager, she was the Consumable Hemp Specialist for the Consumable Hemp Program since 2021. From 2018 to 2021, she worked as a Compliance Officer for Retail Foods Operations, Manufactured Foods Operations and Drugs & Medical Devices Operations. From 2010-2018, she worked as a Manufactured food and Drug and Devices inspector. She earned her undergraduate degree from University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, TX majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
